The Order of Tunisian Engineers and The British Council Tunisia signed a partnership convention related to certifications and using Aptis test to certify engineers in the English language.

Mr Oussama Kheriji, Dean of the Order of Tunisian Engineers, and Mr Robert Ness, the British Council Tunisia Director, signed Thursday, 27 th of October 2016 a three-year agreement.

The Order of Tunisian Engineers is implementing an English language certification programme for its members. This programme requires the establishment of a new evaluation and certification system to enable them obtaining an English language test recognized internationally. The Aptis test, delivered in 170 countries worldwide, is selected as the first choice and will be offered for all the order delegations around the country. IELTS and Cambridge exams are offered on demand with a special discount granted to all order registered members.

The British Council will provide all the technical support to the programme Development to around 60 000 adherents who will benefit from this project.
