There are four opportunities to sit IGCSE, International GCSE and A-/AS-level examinations every year.

  • Examinations with Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) take place in May/June and October/November.
  • Examinations with Pearson Edexcel take place in January and May/June.

WHEN TO REGISTER

The two examination boards have different registration dates. Please check the table below to find the best option for you or your institution.

Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) – May/June examinations:

  • Registration opens: Mid-January
  • Registration deadline: Mid-February

Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) – October/November examinations:

  • Registration opens: Mid-July
  • Registration deadline: Mid-August

Pearson Edexcel – January examinations:

  • Registration opens: Mid-September
  • Registration deadline: Mid-October

Pearson Edexcel – May/June examinations:

  • Registration opens: December
  • Registration deadline: Mid-March

Please note: You may be able to register for exams after the registration deadline, but there are additional fees for late registration.
